BRANDING IDENTITY & ROLLOUT
Where is My Coffee? Branding
Where is My Coffee? is a social enterprise café that provides pathways into employment for people with disability. The café currently operates across four sites in metro Melbourne and Victoria - Kensington, Nunawading, Bendigo and Wangaratta - and includes a travelling coffee van. Rollout collateral included a main and secondary logo for use by the VMCH community and stakeholders, external and internal building signage, a coffee van wrap, and other promotional materials such as flyers and vouchers.
Both logomark and logotype were digitally hand-illustrated, reflecting the friendly and approachable qualities of the brand and the playful nature of the name. The “coffee” in the logotype is reminiscent of the font Comic Sans, which is a preferred font for accessibility. The logo went through an intensive feedback process with multiple variations presented, including a variation of a girl balancing a cup of coffee on her head. The final logo was decided on the basis that the visuals were universally identifiable by the community as being a café.
